What is Detox Foot Pads?

If you will research about alternative medicine, you’ll come across the so-called Detox Foot Pads or patches. This product claims to eliminate toxins from the body, increase energy levels, and improve digestion and circulation.

The appearance of foot pads is similar to tea bags. It contains minerals, various herbs, and other ingredients. The ingredients include wood vinegar, tourmaline, eucalyptus, chitosan, houttyunia cordata, Himalayan sea salt, vitamin C, loquat leaf, negative ion powder, vegetable fiber, and Saurus Chinesis.

The pads come with adhesive patches so that it will be securely attached on each foot. The good thing about these pads is that you’ll attach them on your feet overnight while you’re sleeping and remove it in the morning.

Once you remove the pads, you’ll see that the color of the pads become darker due to the wastes and toxins flushed out from your body.

What is Detox Foot Pads

Do Detox Foot Pads Really Work?

Manufacturers of foot pads are claiming that it works by removing the toxins out of your body. Although there’s no credible research or studies that support the effectiveness and safety of this product, still many users have testified that it worked for them. So far FDA didn’t approve any detox pad yet.

According to Mayo Clinic “If anything sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t true”.

If you’re interested in detox foot pads, you should take time researching about the product so that you’ll know if it really works.

How to Use Detox Foot Pads

As the name of the product implies, it is usually attached to the feet. It’s because the feet are considered as the “second heart” in the Oriental medicine. The feet help to pump back the blood circulation and lymph up to the torso.

The manufacturer of detox foot pads recommend to attach the pads on the sole of each foot at night and it can be worn while sleeping. In the morning, peel off the pads and you’ll notice that the color becomes dark and bumpy.

The discoloration is deemed to be the toxins that were sucked by the pads. The results may depend on the immune system of the individual, the toxin load of the body, and the efficiency of the elimination system.

Detoxifying your body may take for about 12 months. If you notice that the foot pads become drier in the morning, it means that the cleansing cycle is about to end and lesser toxins were present in your body.

Detox Foot Pads Benefits and Best Uses

There are customers who were sharing the benefits of using detox foot pads. Aside from testifying that it makes them feel better, they also added that they were satisfied with it.

Here are some of the benefits of using detox foot pads:

  • Better sleep – Experiencing better sleep is one of the benefits reported when using detox foot pads. This enables fast healing and recovery of the body. Thus, using the foot pads can be a healthier and natural alternative instead of taking sleeping pills that can cause addiction and other sleep issues.
  • Increases energy – Obviously, if a person has better sleep, most likely he or she will have increased energy and better clarity.
  • Reduced detoxing symptoms – As compared to following detox diets, using detox foot pads reduces the detoxing symptoms. This means that the person may not experience symptoms like skin rashes, muscle and joint pain, fatigue, depression, acne breakout, digestive issues, and headache.

Detoxing your body won’t only help to flush out toxins, but also to live a happier and healthier life.

How Do You Detox Your Body Through Your Feet?

Every day, harmful toxins were accumulated inside your body through the food you eat, the water you drink, the air you breathe, and the environment you’re living in. With this, it makes sense using detox foot pads to draw out the toxins from your body.

The three primary organs that play an essential role for detoxification include the liver, kidneys, and the colon. It’s important to detox these body organs regularly and properly. There are specific ways to detox these primary organs.

However, there’s another way to detox your body and that is through your feet and by using the detox foot pads combined with a detox foot bath. Apple cider vinegar solution is an ideal detox foot bath to use before bedtime.

Here’s how:

  • Mix warm distilled water with apple cider vinegar (raw unfiltered or organic)
  • Soak your feet at least 15 minutes, 3 to 5 times a week
  • Rinse your feet using warm water and dry thoroughly
  • Attach the detox foot pads

The pH level of apple cider vinegar is around 3 making it very acidic. It may cause irritation if used undiluted.

Final Thought

To obtain the best results from using detox foot pads, you should use them properly. You should have a reflexology chart in which you can refer to the organ that you want to detox. You can attach the pads either sideways or lengthwise to maximize the covered area. Start by attaching the pads in the middle portion of your feet or the arches.

To ensure that the foot pads won’t be displaced, you should wear a sock. Drink water to keep yourself hydrated and to flush out the toxins.

Detoxing your body using detox foot pads is best implemented at least twice a week for better results. However, you should observe how your body reacts to it. If you notice an improvement in your body, you can continue using the foot pads. Otherwise, discontinue using it.  As much as possible, you should read thoroughly before using any product for your safety.
